Christmas After Party

 December 20, 2012

After school, I had a potluck at my house. I invited around 15 (?) people, I'm not really sure. All that matters is that we had a great time.

I don't even know how I'll begin this. It's been a really long time since I last blogged. I was supposed to post this on tumblr but the uploading took a really long time and I reblogged some of my friend's posts of the party and 2 people already unfollowed me. Not that it's all about fame, though, that doesn't really matter. I guess I just don't want to flood more of our faces on their dashboards.

My friends picked my outfit for me and they made me pose on the stairs, it was hilarious, really, they all had cameras while I was walking down

My extremely happy best friend when I gave her a moleskine

Food!
Early comers
We even had balloons!
Aren't we just adorable?

We then went to the other house to play basketball.  It was too hot so Josh & I went to set up the PS3.

"One of my best friends, Nicole,  threw  a Christmas after party  at her house. Let's just say that I had the best time with my friends and I would do it all over again. This has so far been the most fun party I've ever been to! :)" - The barefoot Dom Dom <3

"That was the most fun ever. This house, it has that effect." Ehehe, Bea! She slept over!

Saying goodbye after 2 bottles of wine.
It took forever for everyone to say bye.

I had so much fun and I'm so glad that everyone else did. Friendships were made stronger and this day was truly memorable. I can't wait until the next party!

Junior High.

Today was my first day of being a Junior.
3rd year, bros!

I still can't believe it.
I can't believe that Summer went by so fast and I can't believe that I'm a Junior. I'm two years away from graduating and going to college. Heck, I don't even know what course I'll take. I pretty much convinced myself to take law but what about pre-law? I have not decided on that yet and they'll be asking us. I am not ready AT ALL. I feel so immature, I'm not ready.

And I'm in the pilot class.

Creme class! Star Section!
Last year, when they told me I was Top 1 in the class, I hoped that I didn't pass to be in the star section. I didn't want to be there; the pressure, expectations, & competitions but look at where I am now.

I love the part where everybody congratulated me, they were proud of me! But I also saw the posts on our group wall saying "It's us again but who's gone?" "I miss her!" I couldn't help thinking I'm not wanted. It's like they want the others more than me, well they DO want the others, they've been through a lot. I couldn't blame them from missing people but it's not my fault I'm here. I never even wanted to be here in the first place.

Okay, now for the real first day.

Same drill; wake up, take a bath, eat, then go. I was so worried though, I keep feeling like I forgot something. It was very traffic because all the parents are so excited to bring their kids to their first day of school. I wasn't excited.

It was another start of 10 months in hell.
Okay, I thought about why I hate school, and I thought about how school is good for you. I think the reason why I hate school so much is because of the other things my school has. As in bad things, like how the canteen is so small and how there won't be any prom. I don't think I really mind studying as long as I strive myself to.

In the classroom, I had my best friend as my classmate which is awesome but these people have been together for 2 years so where would I place myself? The only person I really talk to is my best friend. I know these people, yeah, maybe I could call some my friends but it's so different. The most we get to say is hi. And yes, those friends were invited to my party but they don't talk to me. It's because of their bond. 2 years straight of being together. How could I fit in? They say I'm a friendly person, and maybe I am but I don't want to butt-in and join their cliques. It's just weird.

Other than not being able to fit in, I love my adviser. She's young and fun. Maybe she's strict but I'm not that scared because my classmates are all smart and maybe we won't get reprimanded or something. I don't know, it's my first time. The class sounds fun, they laugh a lot like the other sections. The difference really is that they're all smart and our lessons will be harder.

Overall though, my friends told me just to be thankful because I actually got in. One classmate also told me not to be scared because I wouldn't be there if they didn't know I couldn't handle it.
We'll see. I hope I do handle it.

Monday to Thursday

1st day:

Breads.
First day wasn't so bad. I had a classmate who was 15 so I had a friend.
It's so hard making bread! It's exercise. Lucky bread gets a massage! My parents said the bread tasted like bread. You don't say?

That day, we also went to see dermatologist in  Alabang. I need to put on so much creams and junk.

2nd day:

Cookies.
New students. Older than me and they were sisters. Dear lord, one had so much makeup on and she had horrible lash extensions. Just ew. You don't need makeup on. I know the first impression stuff but at least put decent makeup on.

Sugar Cookies, Chocolate Chip, and Peanut Butter Oatmeal. I obviously do not frost well. I'm only proud of the Captain America; it almost won but I lost to a broken-heart-designed cookie. Sheesh.

I also made some Red Velvet Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting (my specialty) at home for my titas. I made like 35 and they ran out so quickly!

3rd day:

Bannoofee Pie, Whoopie Pies, and Chocolate Crinkles.

Yes, all of those. Yes, I made red velvet again! I honestly like my version better and the crinkles weren't that good so yeah. The Bannoofee Pie which I do not know how to spell was cool.

Also went to Festival for a while. Bought a peter pan collar! I don't like that mall so much. Just saying.

4th Day:

I don't have pictures of the cupcakes but we made Coca-Cola Chocolate Cupcakes and Buttermilk Cupcakes. I found all 3 different batches too sweet especially with the frosting. Plus, the Coca-Cola Chocolate Cupcakes did not taste like Coke at all. It's like we just added more fat in or something.

We also went to Pergola. (Pergola, not Pergs please) We ate at Reyes Barbeque and I got a haircut. Mom and Dad went with their friends so us kids were dropped off at the park, we were going to watch Paolo's game. When we got there, he wasn't playing so we just waited. He played for a while but he wasn't even running! I just sat on the skateboard with Mika trying to watch. We weren't allowed to cheer so that was boring. We let Kuya Jonathan go ahead so we had to walk home and I was WEARING HEELS. My mom got a pedicure so Mika let mom wear her slippers, my flats to Mika and mom's heels to me.

I never thought I'd say it but I have successfully walked in heels from the park to our house.

New blogs

I have decided to make new blogs.

  • This will be for personal use; like what's happening to me and my boring life and all that.
  • Another will be for rants; I won't make it today since I'm not really angry about anything yet.
  • Lastly, one for reviews; thoughts on movies, characters, whatever comes to my mind. Which I guess is nothing but whatever. It won't hurt to try.

Rainbow Cupcakes~

First attempt at making rainbow cupcakes! It was a success! I'm so happy~

  2. In a medium bowl, cream together the sugar and butter. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Combine flour and baking powder, add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Finally stir in the milk until batter is smooth.
  3. Add in 1/4 cup of flour at a time until you reach desired consistency. (separate from the initial 1 1/2 cups flour) Also add 1/4 teaspoon baking powder. (separate from the initial 1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder)
  4. Separate the batter into 6 or more portions (one for each color). Decide which color and mix.
  5. Pour or spoon batter (one color at a time) into the prepared pan.
  6. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven. For cupcakes, bake 20 to 25 minutes. Cake is done when it springs back to the touch.

Staring blankly

That moment when you just stop and stare at absolutely nothing precise. You're just looking at that part not focusing or fixated at anything and you don't know why.

I don't know why or how that happens but apparently, that happening makes you lose brain cells.

I think we should just appreciate that minute or second when you're just staring blankly, because for a moment there, you weren't thinking about any problems or worries. With all your problems, or up coming problems, a second or minute of nothing would be greatly appreciated. We should cherish those short moments, we don't really have control over them.

Welcome me

again.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused in the meantime and thank you for your patience as we completed our review process. Thank you for understanding. Sincerely, The Blogger Team

I got that reply when I sent a message complaining because they deleted my blog. They called it a spam. I'm sorry! I'm new to this and I am definitely going to learn. This, I tell you, will be one of the best blogs ever! Lolokay, I'm joking.

The reason why I wanted a blog spot is because I have so much thoughts in my mind and I never get to share them or express them. A reason is because I am too lazy to go write on a journal or something. I guess I stopped the whole diary thing. I hope I could commit to this blog because after designing it, I am quite proud.
